Matt Smith (BSc Hons)
Graduate Sports Therapist

Matt graduated from University of Essex in 2020 where he received his Undergraduate in Sports Therapy. Matt started off his career working in pro football clubs such as Southend and Ipswich Town where he was able to learn from Physiotherapists, Doctors, Sports Rehabilitators amongst other multi-disciplinary professionals. This furthered Matt’s understanding on all aspects of treatment as well as the importance of high end rehabilitation to ensure patients come back as strong as possible.

“My mission is to get people back as soon as possible and in doing so, giving them the tools and ability to ensure they have appropriate steps in place to reduce the risk of re-injury. Being able to adapt my approach to suit the individual, whilst ensuring each patient is enjoying the process makes for a better rehabilitation pathway“
